Good music,good food.
It was our first time at La Grotta restaurant and we will certainly be back.The food was great and there was also a band on their patio which complimented the restaurant.Service was great .Thank you for the great experience.

Somewhat disappointed
We were celebrating 2 birthdays and expected better food. This was rather average. Waiter did not try very hard to please us. And we are pretty easy to please. Would I go again? No. There are better places.

I can't believe these other reviews!!
No question, the place is quaint and romantic. The restaurant was certainly not busy at all. Service was fine but certainly not refined. The food was anything but fresh. Most of the food did not taste fresh at all. The carpaccio was foul and served with processed cheese slices top instead of proper parmesean. Nothing was really good at all. Worst of all, there was banging noise in the kitchen that was continuously reasonating in the restaurant along with their phone and loud laughing. Certainly, would not go back. And I forgot, there were several large bugs crawling on the floor while we were eating which could have easily entered through the patio doors but certainly does not look great considering I watch Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsey frequently.

exquisite
After enjoying the Unionville Festival ,we had a reservation @ La Grotta restaurant.We were sat on their beautiful patio.We enjoyed the evening very much.The restaurant was very busy but well organized.The food was very tasty and the ambiance very romantic.The fish was perfectly cooked and I tasted some of my wife's pasta and the beef in it was very tender.well done.We were impressed.By the way ,your patio is the most relaxing and beautiful .We will be back very soon.

Excellent food and athmoshere
The restaurant serves true authentic italian cuisine.The food was very fresh and well presented.The serving staff is professional and attentive.For me it was the best mother's day treat my kids and husband did for me.The restaurant was well managed because all the reservations were well spread and the restaurant was busy and well organized.I wish we could have sat on the patio but I guess we will come another day when it gets warmer.
