Volker Stevin begins operations in Calgary through a partnership with John DeVries Contracting
1982
Volker Stevin acquires 100% ownership and the journey begins
1988
Volker Stevin celebrates its involvement in the construction of Calgary Olympic Park for the 1988 Winter Olympics
1990
MidMountain Contractors, Seattle is acquired by the VolkerWessels group
1996
Volker Stevin increases its Calgary Asphalt production and market share through a new pit and plant in Spyhill
1996
Start of our Highway Maintenance activities in the Lethbridge district after establishing a long-term contract with the Alberta Government
2001
Volker Stevin begins highway maintenance in the Calgary district after a successful bid
2003
Volker Stevin’s asphalt production capacity increases with the start-up of operations in our Aldersyde asphalt plant

Volker Stevin acquisition of H. Wilson Industries Ltd., Fort McMurray
