To Whom It May Concern:
Keller Equipment Supply has proudly partnered with our customers, vendors, and industry allies for nearly 60 years. Throughout this time, we have remained committed to supplying and supporting high-quality products, many of which are manufactured in the United States.
With the recent developments surrounding tariffs, we recognize the challenges posed by currency fluctuations and price increases. We understand the concerns this situation may create for you, our valued customers. As the landscape continues to evolve, our focus remains unchanged: delivering the best possible products and services with minimal disruption to your operations. We are actively working to mitigate these challenges and identify solutions that support your business.
To address these tariff-related concerns, Keller is working closely with our vendors, import specialists, and even government representatives to minimize potential impacts wherever possible. Additionally, we continuously monitor exchange rates to maximize purchasing efficiencies and negotiate better pricing with our suppliers.
Despite these efforts, any tariffs imposed by the government will need to be passed on to our customers. However, we will make every reasonable effort to notify you in advance of any potential charges. These charges will be reflected as a surcharge on your final invoice.
For any products you currently have on order that have not yet been imported into Canada from the U.S., applicable tariffs will be added as a surcharge to your existing orders. This approach ensures that your business can assess the impact of Canadian tariffs on its operations and make informed decisions.
We are confident that these measures are temporary and that the situation may resolve as quickly as it arose. Many of our U.S.-based manufacturing partners have also committed to working alongside us to find solutions.
We appreciate your understanding and partnership during this time. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
Thank you,
Brad Egeland, President
