Albert Shoe Re-Nu

I have been very happy with the service I have received at St Albert Shoe Re-nu. Great customer service and staff are very meticulous in ensuring that you are 100% satisfied with their work. I brought in a few belts and after the first sizing I decided I wanted them to be smaller than I initially thought. Even though it was the same amount of work, I was not charged the second time. I plan to bring boots in now for repair. I would recommend St Albert Shoe Re-Nu for guaranteed service.

We took a couple pairs of cowboy boots to get the soles fixed. The man we dealt with was polite and knowledgeable. He provided us with a couple options, with different prices. We had an excellent experience here.

I have a pair of custom hunting mukluks and they needed new rubber souls I was concerned about trusting anybody with these boots!! Turned out great! Very happy

I had my purse strap repaired a few days ago. I purchased the wrong clasp but didn’t realize it until the next day. The fellow did a good job installing this clasp, so it wasn’t his fault I wasn’t happy. I returned today (Sunday) and a different fellow added a stud so as to keep the strap in place. He did it for nothing. They obviously wish to keep their clients happy. I was most pleased.

Told I was out of luck on fixing their horrible repair.

I took a pair of cowboy boots into this store over a month ago. The worse customer service I've ever received and I paid $150 to have them ruin a $300 pair of boots. I'll never take my business there again and advise against anyone else doing so.

I left my boots to be re soled and the female gave me a price of $75. When I returned 3 days later the work wasn't done and the owner (larger male) claimed I had taken advantage of the female and the work done is $95. The male was extremely rude and dismissive. Basically had a shouting argument with me. It may be a surprise to him that the customer asked for a quote and its not their fault if his staff get it wrong. I would avoid this store at all costs.

Brought my dress ...

Brought my dress shoes in to have the insides relined. He said he couldn't do it. I took them to Rucallen in West Edmonton Mall and was provided much friendlier service and my shoes will be ready tomorrow. Do not recommend Shoe Renu. Not friendly and not helpful.

My shoes are like new

Today I brought my boots in cause I needed new heel tips and the bottom of the toe part was wearing down, making it more likely to damage the leather on the edges. He fixed up my boots so well, it wasn't messy looking after, it didn't look unnatural and "repaired". He finished up with a polish, filled in a missing piece of leather on the heel, cleaned up the edges of the new sole... Such a good job, that I took off the shoes I was wearing and had him do those too! Both pairs done tonight while I wondered the mall for 15 min. Nice guy, good service, good workmanship - he said he's been doing this for about 30 years. I highly recommend this guy, and I'll be bringing all my shoes here!
