east side marios in pembroke is my favourite place to go, the food is great and the service is fantastic! i am a regular and enjoy that every visit is consistent, fabulous food, service and atmosphere. it is a great place to take your family because you are treated like family! one thing i would ask of east side marios is to please, please bring back the angel hair pasta!

Kelsey's is the perfect place to solve your munchie mystery. Their wing night is like sex on clouds, beautiful and magical. The people there always seem to have a smile on their faces and its wonderful to see while I am nommin down on all dat good stuff. I always receive amazing service. what can i say,,we absolutely love judy's place..we visit regularly and know the staff by first name. The staff are super nice and never have a problem substituting orders for my kids. The owner and cook always brings out a complimentary bowl of chocolate chip cookies for my kids everytime we eat there. the food is fantastic and the prices are great! as for decor, iv seen some other somewhat negative remarks in regards to it , but even tho its clearly not done by a interior designer, its comfortable and bright. You gotta love when you can go into a place and say i'll have the usual and the waitress knows exactly what and how you like it prepared. i definately recommend eating at judy's. Great food and Quick and friendly service:)

Yep, its really that great!
This is one of those staples in Lindsay, right on the main street, kinda small and understated; but once you've eaten here you will always come back.
Jane's menu is simple, and enjoyable. Everything is always great, service included. They are very accommodating, and fairly priced. Others have complained about the decor, but I think it adds to the "Kountry Kitchen" charm.
Also, anywhere that does an "all day breakfast" is good with me

Went there with our 4y.o. son. Service was absolutely great, friendly, fast! Salmon was a vit overcooked but overall experience great. Would highly recommend. Dessert looked better in real than on the picture and was delicious!

Omg this place is an absolute Gem!
My husband , myself and my mother inlaw were on our way from New Brunswick to Ontario. During a snow storm ( March 4th 2023) the owner G was amazing! The breakfast was the best I've ever had. The coffee is so so good! The customer service and hospitality we received here will be something we all talk and rave about forever! Even the customers were delightful! We left full and happy! Even got some homemade banana bread for the ride with a top up to our coffee.

Wonderful experience. Atmosphere is beautiful, good food, staff is always so friendly. Good deal when they have the early bird special. Went in October. The man that served my family had a darker complexion, very friendly and charismatic! Had a unique name that I wish I could remember. He joked around with us and gave my brother a free dessert for his birthday. Absolutely want to go back and have him serve us again... he was honestly the best waiter Ive ever had.

This is the nicest Swiss Chalet I've been to. Clean restaurant, friendly staff .... they actually look like they enjoy working here, and our dinner was exceptional, as it always seems to be at Swiss Chalet. Where else can you get healthy home-style food at these prices? Kudos to the management and staff at Swiss Chalet Huntsville. Good job. We always HAVE to get our weekly fix of Swiss Chalet!

Breakfast dining at John's transports you well back into the last century when folks had significantly different service and culinary expectations. Don't miss the experience.
As I entered John shouted a hearty "Sit anywhere and I'll be with you in a minute." greeting from the open kitchen in the rear of his restaurant. So I sat at the chrome-trimmed counter and the few nearby customers nodded their welcomes to me. John promptly brought the menu and my coffee. "If you want a refill, help yourself.", he said pointing to the coffee brewer on the back bar. I like this. It's like being transported back into Mayberry, West Virginia. Only Sheriff Andy and Deputy Barney haven't arrived for their morning coffees yet.
My scrambled eggs were perfectly done, light and fluffy with just the right amount of moistness. The accompanying sausages were lightly grilled. Just browned, not deep fried that renders the casing nearly inedible as most others places seem to do in the name of culinary expediency these days.
A customer from further down the counter strikes up a conversation with me and then takes out his wallet to show me the picture of his first car, a 1954 Ford. What do you have in your wallet?
John is 85 and in apparent good health. But go to this little glimpse of the past and revel in the experience. It may not be available to you much longer.
If it's not too busy, ask and John will share some details of his lifelong career of serving others carefully, charmingly, honestly and completely to the very best of his ability. How many other restaurants can do that?
John's prices are embarrassingly low while the experience is rich beyond all expectations. I didn't want to leave.
