The Oaks Veterinary Medical & Emergency Referral Centre

The staff at The Oaks are wonderful. Theyll take the time to get to know you and your animals, explain things in great detail, or give you the Coles notes version if you prefer. They are welcoming, personable, and will never make you feel rushed or that you are taking up too much time. I really appreciate their transparency, their approach to medicine, and most of all, the level of care that they have for their paw-ients.

Will not go back I brought my cat and they over charged me, I had meant to write this last year but didn't get the chance.

I started bringing my dogs to the Oaks last year. I have to say, it's been a great experience so far. The hospital has wonderful staff, the facilities are beautiful and the vets are all specialists in their fields. I have to say the quality of care is much higher than my previous clinic. My old vet referred me a few times to the college in PEI; the tests I had done there could have been done at the Oaks without all the hassle. I also feel secure knowing that I can reach someone 24/7 in case there is an emergency. All in all, I highly recommend the Oaks.

The BEST 24hr care & treatment hospital!!!

We love our family dog - and when he got sick my heart sunk. What was worse was imagining how I was going to explain it all to our six year old son. There are so many choices for Veterinary care in the area I live, and The Oaks Vet Hospital came highly recommended to me from friends and coworkers - I heard only positive things about their professionalism, personable staff, extensive knowledge base & expertise in a wide scope of practise; I just had to go see for myself. I was blown away by the cleanliness of the facility when I walked through the front doors and the owner even took me for a tour of the entire facility. My son came with me when we brought our dog in for his examination and the doctor was so great at explaining our dogs condition and presented our treatment options in a very sensitive way. We left our sick dog in their care with 100% confidence in our decision. Our family could rest easy at night knowing the Surgeon would would collaborate with the Internal med doctor with regards to our dogs treatment plan, and that the skillful technicians were giving him the 24hr critical supervision he required to get better. I believe it was just this that made the difference to our dogs successful treatment and recovery - and now we have him back at home, healthy as can be! Thank you, EVERYONE, at The Oaks Vet! Our pet deserves the BEST and we are so lucky to have found such a wonderful hospital that ensures our dogs optimal health.

I have personally been to many different veterinary clinics looking for the right one, and I am glad to say I finally found it! Very supporting/helpful staff, always there 24/7 to help us. The doctors are very knowledgeable and will go out of their way to help people/animal. Beautiful facility and wonderful care, couldn't ask for more!

Outrageous.

I realize vets are extremely knowledgeable and have a substantial education behind them, but that does not give them the right to make a client feel inadequate as I was made to feel, or charge them through the nose as I was accordingly. Outlandishly expensive, and very arrogant in their ways. Gorgeous clinic, but that's about it.
