Had our cat in for a week and a $2800 bill with no results as the diagnoses kept changing depending on who you speak with. Our vet diagnosed him immediately when I finally pulled him from the central island emergency. I suggest you stick to your vet. I should have pulled him out the first day. Very disappointed with how the whole thing was managed and ridiculously expensive with no results.
We had to rush our Papillion for emergency care, our little Riley had to be put to sleep and the vet and the clinic could not have been nicer, caring and very empathic to both the dog and us. We did get Riley's remains back as we had requested and once again they express their sorrow for us, would absolutely use them again when we get another dog.
After my daughter's golden retriever fell ill in my care she rushed to Nanaimo and we brought her to the clinic. Her time with us was done... she was 13. After the euthanasia was complete bill was paid and wishes documented to have cremated remains returned. Well 3 weeks later no call prompted my daughter to call them. Their attitude was business like and cold indicating they made an error and our beloved was cremated with all the others and would not be coming home?Very poor malpractice!
