Mitch Verigen has seen a lot of changes since he started working for the business his father Percy started in 1978, which was later taken over by Accurate Lock in 2010. Only a couple years out of school Mitch followed in the family footsteps at Keyhole Locksmith, and cut his teeth working on everything from automotive to commercial and residential locksmithing. “We do everything, whether it’s houses, cars, safes, anything like that,” he says.
Today much of the business comes from the automotive side. “With all the transponder keys, it takes a lot of our time keeping up with all the technological changes,” says Mitch of the chip-embedded keys and systems for cars.
